A Ladder Tender is what the Ladder crew take to all calls where the big ladder is not needed. For example Medicals, car accidents, mountain rescues and other BLS calls. This saves the wear and tear on the big ladder. These trucks have the same equipment as the big ladder and some departments might have pumps on them also.
