Flood simulation and calibration in fastflood

This video describes how to simulate a flood event using the rapid flood simulation tool FastFlood. We also show how to carry out a calibration based on observational data. The Geul is a small river system in the South of the Netherlands with minor area in Belgium and Germany. In 2021, the extreme precipitation event that hit the north-western European continent resulted in floods in this area, with major damages in cities like Valkenburg.
