Welcome to Lesson 2 of the multi-part series on Zotero. We continue from Lesson 1 in which we took our first steps into installing and using Zotero. There is a common misconception that Zotero is a software solution for inserting citations and creating a bibliography and is mostly useful for researchers and academics. While this might be true in part, it is an incorrect and inadequate commentary on the capabilities and use that Zotero can be put to. Zotero should not be seen with a limited lens of a bibliography creator. It is in fact a personal knowledge repository software that can be used by anyone even if they do not plan to write an academic paper ever. In this Multi-Part series of which this is Lesson 2- I demonstrate how you can capture a variety of digital assets and bring them inside Zotero to build and advance your personal knowledge repository over time. We will also see how we can import material on your computer and reference it inside Zotero. Feel free to share this video with others and let me know if this tutorial was helpful in the comments.
