BMW E90 Head Unit with Backup Camera Installation

I bought this BMW E90 in 2024 and I really enjoy the handling and the design, however one thing that was really missing was some help with parking. Even for a 2005 car there was no parking distance assist and obviously no camera. Luckily that’s easily fixed. On this video I install an aftermarket head unit from Sony and a back up camera from Amazon. I managed to get the installation exactly the way I wanted it. The camera is on whenever the engine is running, allowing me to check rear video even when driving. Also, the head unit switches to the rear video automatically when driving in reverse.
