WTA In SHOCK As Eala's 3-Match Skid COLLIDES With Parry's 4!

#AlexEala #NingboOpen #EalaVsParry The WTA just spotlighted a first-round match between two players on a combined seven-match losing streak — and it is the most fascinating draw of the Ningbo Open. Six years after Diane Parry (junior world No. 1) and Alex Eala (junior No. 4) topped the junior rankings, they finally meet as professionals on Monday at 9 AM Manila time, both holding maiden 2026 titles and both without a win since the US Open. The tour's own preview flagged Eala vs Parry as the match to watch, quoting her three-match skid against Parry's four. Behind the winner waits a gauntlet — Shnaider, Jovic, and possibly world No. 1 Rybakina — with $185,500 on the line. Twelve million Filipinos are setting their alarms.
