How to create a quick and easy Text Animation using Trim Paths in After Effects. In this after effects tutorial, I'll walk you through the entire process step-by-step - from opening a new composition, using Trim Paths, and even adding some final touches. Step-by-step: 1| Open a new composition in After Effects. 2| Type out your text! Make sure you have no fill set and a white stroke with 3 width. 3| Add a "Trim Paths" text animator. At 1:00 add a keyframe for "End" @ 100%. At 0:00 adjust to 0%. 4| Easy-ease keyframes, then adjust velocities using the Graph Editor by changing the curve. 5| Duplicate the layer, offset the start by 5 frames, then change the stroke to orange. 6| Duplicate the new layer, move it to the bottom, delete trim paths effect, change from stroke to fill. 7| Create a large mask around text, turn on the mask path keyframe, and change the feather to 30. 8| At 0:05 move the mask to the left of the text, at 1:05 move the mask back on top of the text. 9| Watch your new text animation!
