October 6, 2026 - Lewis County BOCC Meeting At Tuesday's meeting, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners set an Oct. 27 hearing on renewing the City of Winlock's water and sewer franchise and approved a request for qualifications for the county's Fire Alarm Engineering project. Commissioners awarded a contract to Pioneer Masonry Restoration Co. Inc. for the Historic Courthouse repointing project, approved an MOU with the Lewis County Dispatchers' Guild authorizing retention bonuses, new employee training incentives and increased training differentials, approved a lease with American Tower Corporation for a telecommunications site on Democrat Hill, and declared surplus vehicles and equipment, among other items. Following public hearings, the board approved a 2026 budget amendment, the vacation of an unimproved alley in the Plat of Doty, and Ordinance 1382, which makes minor technical amendments to the Lewis County Urban Growth Area boundary.
