The Belle Époque Orchestra and Luciano Petik - Ave Maria Bach/Gounod arr. Gianni Landini

One of the students at the Musica Mundi School in Waterloo has a beautiful Italian name: Luciano Petik. He actually has Slovak roots but lives in Sint-Gillis-Waas in Belgium. He is 12 years old and is performing the solo with Gounod's Ave Maria, which he set to a prelude by J.S. Bach. Especially for this occasion, composer, and teacher at the Musica Mundi School, Jan Van Landeghem, arranged this piece for The Belle Époque Orchestra under the name, Gianni Landini. The Musica Mundi School is an arts academy for top talent from around the world. Uniquely, these young people also have to learn to conduct, and Rik Ghesquière has the pleasure of mentoring them.
