Our Scottish Wedding ~ the A82 road trip

So 1st, let me make this clear, if we could have, we would have been on our motorcycles for this. Unfortunately the logistics of getting two motorcycles, the car, 4 adults, two trikes and two bicycles, 600 miles from home, in a fit state to attend our wedding, was too much. The Aldhani trip had to be done under pedal power and it was the reason for choosing this location, we did consider hiring a van big enough to get the motorcycles in, but that was out of our budget. If I ever am able, riding the A82 on my motorcycle is still top of my bucket list. While this lists the A82, as it's part of our wedding road trip route and makes up the majority of this video, there is an excursion to Oban (our wedding location ( https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/marria... ), our home from home @ Laich Cottage (https://www.kinlochlaichgardenselfcat... ), and the journey along the River Awe that was part of the Aldhani Adventure. (    • Pilgrimage to Aldhani   ) It should be noted that this was mostly filmed on my Insta360 X5 (with extra footage from Alice's Insta360 in her van). The camera was mounted for most of the time on the left window of our car, this is so I could film while Jayne was driving. There is a clip at the end that shows what happens when I try to do both, and also need to wipe the lens of rain! Many of the still images are placed to hide camera wipes so do not always align with the video pass of the photo point. Camera mount position means that most of the footage of the pass of Loch Lomond is at the end of the video, on the way back, when the camera was mounted on the Loch side of the car. It is also why I included panoramic scans while crossing the same bridge in opposite directions, scanning to the left. This is a long form "moving wallpaper" video, I hope people will enjoy the ride across some of the most spectacular scenery I have ever driven across. In case you had not noticed, most of the footage is sped up. A special mention should go to the Formula 1st Winterstoke Road manager, who happened to mention the A82 route in a conversation. As the original plan was to head straight to Oban to do paperwork, chances are we would have gone the A85 more direct route to get there, especially as we were running late anyway. Alice has to fuel her van at Shell garages, of which there are few. The 1st one we stopped at near Glasgow as planned had run out of diesel, so a detour delayed our eta to Oban. While our Registra, Catherine Dods, was very understanding and said we could sort the paperwork on the day, she deserves a special mention for making the wedding perfect.
