Stardust Racers; Epic Universe 2026 Front Row POV

Built as the "Star" roller coaster for the brand-new Epic Universe Theme Park in 2024, Stardust Racers shot up to be one of my all-time favorite rides. It was designed and constructed by Mack Rides, a now legendary manufacturer of high-thrill roller coasters. Opening of the ride went smoothly, unlike other rides in the park (*ahem* Ministry of Magic.) However, the 2025 season would prove to be a nightmare for the only year old ride. It started when a man tragically passed away after riding Stardust, but this is unconfirmed to be caused by the coaster. In my firm belief, was caused by other known medical factors that were worsened by the coaster. The ride was shut down following this, and remained down for the entire summer season. According to reports after the work was completed, the ride was used extremily heavily during it's 1st year, and parts already began to show wear. They decided to fix all the issues at once, and forfit the coaster's season. Because of this, rumor has it that Universal is not on good terms with Mack. (which is sad... Mack does amazing work and they were time-crunched on building this and Curse of the Wearwolf) Despite Universal's issues with the ride, Stardust remains an engineering Marvel. Having monsterous capacity, it can run a total of 8 trains at a time- 4 on each track. Though I have not get grabbed a nightride to hear that version of the on-ride music, the sound system on the trains is also fantastic. I may make people angry... Stardust is better than Velocicoaster. Sorry, the on-ride music combined with my love of dueling coasters edges out Veloci.
