Every story starts on a tiny everyday thing. Today it is a yellow rain boot on a rainy porch... and something with a curly tail is hiding inside it. Tap, tap?Pip the pocket-fox, Luma the lantern moth, Bramble the moss turtle, Zee the sugar glider and Captain Nib the raccoon zoom down to toy size and meet Brelly, a little red umbrella with yellow spots. Brelly has never opened up. What if she opens too wide and goes flop? So the crew plays QUIZ TIME: WHAT DO WE NEED? The weather changes over a little wooden weather stage.Question one: the sun is shining and it is hot. A sun hat, or a woolly scarf?Question two: now it is snowing. A woolly hat, or a swim ring?Question three: pitter-patter, it is raining! Sunglasses, or an umbrella? There are two picture cards, a 3-2-1 thinking pause for you to shout your answer, a funny wrong guess from Zee (a swim ring, so we can swim in the snow!), and then the right thing flies onto the peg doll. Every right answer opens Brelly a little more and lights a weather badge on the porch sign, until... FWUMP! Then everyone follows Brelly on a puddle parade!PAUSE and shout your answer before the reveal! What do we need?WHAT KIDS LEARN: weather words (sunny, snowy, rainy, hot, cold), matching clothes and things to the weather, looking at the sky before you choose, and that it is OK to try something new.CHAPTERS0:00 Who's hiding in the rain boot?0:20 Meet Brelly, the little umbrella0:31 Quiz Time!
