The events will take place at Baramunda, Sundarpada, Koradakanta, Naharkanta, Bankual, Infocity Chandrasekharpur, Andharua, Nandankanan and Gandarpur. To ensure public safety, Commissionerate Police has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the celebrations. A 100-metre safety perimeter will be maintained around the Ravana Dahan sites, and spectators must remain at least 100 metres away from the effigies. Only green crackers will be permitted, while excessively loud and dangerous fireworks will be restricted. DJ music has also been completely banned at Puja committees and processions. Around 48 platoons of police force will be deployed across the city for security and idol immersion arrangements.
