Chester is the main station serving the historic city of Chester. Operated by Welsh Operator, Transport for Wales, the station sees service to Manchester, Holyhead, Llandudno, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham and London mainly operated by Transport for Wales, whilst some North Wales Coast and West Coast Mainline services are operated by Avanti West Coast.
