When his aging mother's health declines due to Parkinson's, a devoted son grapples with the challenges of becoming her caregiver. TOOTS. is a short film by Chris Alan Evans based on his own experience caring for his mother. An official selection of the Cleveland International Film Festival, Indy Shorts International Film Festival, and Sedona International Film Festival. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR Toots is a personal story about the relationship between my mother and I after becoming her caretaker. In this story, I try to convey the hardship, emotion, and joy that comes with caregiving someone with Parkinson’s. In the beginning, and in the end… all we have is each other. Toots, ultimately, is also about the revolving nature of caring for each other as we age.
