Today we listened to Real Gone Kid by Deacon Blue for the very first time! This was our introduction to Deacon Blue, a band that somehow completely passed us by over the years. Going into this one, we didn't really know what to expect, which always makes for a fun first listen. One of the things we enjoy most about doing this channel is discovering artists that were well known in the UK but weren't part of our musical experience growing up. Every now and then we come across a song, band, or artist that makes us wonder how we've never heard them before.
