SUNSHOWER - TURNSTILE [DRUM COVER]

To say Turnstile has been killing it these last few years would be an understatement. I still consider myself a fairly new fan, having discovered them through Glow On before working my way backward through their catalog. What I love most about their last two albums is how much they're willing to experiment. The genre blending, the art direction, the music videos. They're always trying something new, and I think that's a huge part of why they've become so successful. SUNSHOWER is a great example of that, and Daniel Fang's drumming was a blast to play. Watching their rise has been pretty incredible. From performing on Jimmy Fallon in 2022 to winning two Grammys earlier this year, and then making their SNL debut just a few weeks ago. And last weekend, they played a free show at the Washington Monument for an estimated 60,000 people, raising over $260,000 for Human Concern International's humanitarian efforts in Palestine, Sudan, and Lebanon. That's a hell of an accomplishment for a hardcore band from Baltimore. And through all of this, they genuinely look like they're having the time of their lives. Meanwhile, the hardcore gatekeepers seem to be having just as much fun arguing about their success in every comment section. Whatever. I love this band, and I'm happy for them. They've managed to bring hardcore to an entirely new audience without forgetting where they came from. Pretty cool to witness. #turnstile #hardcore #drumcover #drummer
