It comes with 5 variants i.e E, S, S+, SX & SX(O) which split into 12 versions across range. Hyundai Verna is based on Hyundai-Kia K2 platform that also develops various Hyundai's and Kia's across globe. Hyundai Verna 2021 is offered with two petrol engine option and one diesel engine. First one is a 1.5 litre MPi petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque and second petrol is 1.0 litre T-GDI kappa turbo-petrol develops 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque and third one is a 1.5litre U2 CRDi diesel making 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be available 1.5 petrol 1.5 diesel engine options, and there will be an automatic option for each engine like a 6-speed torque convertor for the 1.5 litre diesel, a IVT for the 1.5 litre petrol and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for the 1.0 T-GDI petrol.
