10 Old Country Gospel Hymns | I Need Thee Every Hour — Songs of Prayer & Devotion (Psalm 63)

10 Old Country Gospel Hymns | I Need Thee Every Hour — a quiet Psalm 63 journey of prayer, surrender, faith, and devotion for every hour of your day. Old Country Gospel Hymns presents original Christian songs inspired by old-time gospel, country gospel, Southern gospel, and the heartfelt sound of small churches from the nineteen sixties and nineteen seventies. Here you'll hear newly written songs about Jesus, Calvary, the blood of Christ, grace, forgiveness, salvation, heaven, and the promised land — songs meant to be sung quietly, prayed over, and carried in the heart. Each collection is carefully curated, sequenced, edited, and paired with custom visuals to create a warm devotional experience with upright piano, soft church organ, acoustic guitar, mature voices, and close gospel harmony — the same sound of a little white wooden chapel on a Sunday morning. These are original compositions, not archival recordings, restored performances, or reuploads. Every hymn on this channel is written fresh in the old-time spirit, so you are hearing something new that feels like something you've always known. This collection walks quietly through Psalm sixty-three, the prayer of a soul thirsting for God "early" — in the first light of morning — before the noise of the world begins. It speaks of seeking the Lord earnestly, remembering Him in the night watches, resting in the shadow of His wings, and clinging to Him with a whole heart. It comforts the weary, the anxious, the lonely, and anyone who has ever whispered, "Lord, I need You right now." From the first hymn to the last, this is a psalm about nearness — the kind of nearness that does not wait for Sunday, but reaches for God every single hour. Perfect for: prayer, worship, Sunday morning, quiet time, family devotions, and peaceful sleep. 🙏 Write your name in the comments and what you need — we are praying over every single name.
