Welcome to Montemonaco, a beautiful mountain village in the Marche region of Italy, surrounded by the spectacular Sibillini Mountains.
Montemonaco is famous for its mysterious connection with the Sibyl of the Apennines and the legendary Monte Sibilla. The village also lies in the territory of Lago di Pilato, the only natural lake in the Marche, a glacial lake located at around 1,941 metres above sea level.
In this walking tour, we explore the historic streets of Montemonaco, its stone houses, old arches, historic buildings, ancient defensive walls, quiet corners and beautiful mountain views.
You will also see the Church of San Benedetto and discover the atmosphere of this fascinating village in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains.
Montemonaco is a place where medieval history, mountain landscapes and ancient legends come together.
Come with me and discover this beautiful and mysterious corner of Italy.
Filmed in 4K, natural sounds, no music.
