Pt. Yogesh Samsi - Tabla Solo at Abbaji's Guru Purnima - 2/2

The finale of Pt. Yogesh Samsi's performance at Ustad Alla Rakha's (Abbaji's) Guru Purnima function in July 2012 in Mumbai. On the harmonium is Pt. Ajay Joglekar. Panditji was preceded by Aditya Kalyanpur, Anuradha Pal, a group of students from the Alla Rakha School of Music. Panditji's solo was followed by a sarangi duet by Ustad Sultan Khan's son Sabir Khan and nephew Dilshad Khan accompanied by Fazal Qureshi. Fazal-ji then gave a solo. I had to leave around then but I believe the evening concluded with a fantastic solo by Ustad Zakir Hussain.
