VEKTOR TEMPLE — MACHINES OF TWILIGHT (1974)
Instrumental Progressive Rock / Full Album
Machines of Twilight is a fictional 1974 instrumental progressive rock album by Vektor Temple.
Built around analog synthesizers, Mellotron, Hammond organ, electric guitar, heavy bass lines and dynamic drums, the album imagines the soundtrack of a decaying futuristic city at the edge of collapse.
Across ten instrumental pieces, the record moves through monolithic architecture, abandoned towers, industrial corridors and fading mechanical landscapes. The sound combines dark progressive rock, psychedelic textures, cinematic passages and vintage 1970s production.
