(Yumi Makiba / Sadame no Mama ni "As Fate Dictates")

[Yumi Makiba / Sadame no Mama ni "As Fate Dictates"] Composed and Arranged By – Yuji Ohno Lyrics By – Koji Ishizaka Teichiku Orchestra Teichiku Records SN-1339 November 1973 Yumi Makiba is a singer who debuted in 1971 with "Bouken" (Adventure). In the popular TV audition program "Star Tanjou!" (Star is Born!) from the 1970s to the 1980s, Junko Sakurada sang Makiba's "Mishiranu Sekai" (An Unknown World), and Momoe Yamaguchi sang "Kaiten Mokuba" (Carousel), both of which led to their success. Although Makiba wasn't explosively popular at the time, it's presumed that she possessed elements that appealed to aspiring professional singers and enthusiasts. This song was included on the B-side of her seventh single, and her last single with Teichiku Records, "Kaigara no Seishun" (Youth of the Seashells). Actor Koji Ishizaka, who wrote the lyrics and drew the jacket illustration, and Yuji Ohno, who composed and arranged the music, had released several records around this time under the title "Music and Fantasy Series," and it's likely they collaborated through that connection. Ishizaka's literary-sounding lyrics, combined with Ohno's dramatic melody and arrangement, create a very pleasant listening experience. I would like to once again offer my deepest condolences for the passing of Yuji Ohno. Arigatō! 🙇🏻🙏 If you like it, please subscribe 👉 https://www.youtube.com/c/ShowaKayoTh...
