Many believers have been taught to view spiritual warfare as a battle between two nearly equal forces: Yahweh representing good and Satan representing evil. But Scripture reveals something very different. There is a power gap. Yahweh is the Creator. Satan is created. Yahweh is sovereign. Satan is limited. Yahweh possesses unlimited power. Satan possesses only temporary and permitted power. And through Jesus Christ, believers have been given delegated spiritual authority over the power of the enemy. In this lesson, we examine what Scripture teaches about the true hierarchy of spiritual authority and why understanding your identity in Christ changes the way you approach spiritual warfare. “You belong to God, my dear children.
