Atlas Copco multi-claw vacuum pump for maple from Bissell Maple Farms

Today we are visiting with Fred Shelatz, farm manager at Bissell Maple Farm in Jefferson, Ohio which is the big Midwest distributor for Atlas Copco pumps for the maple industry. Shelatz, along with farm owner Nathan Bissell are using these energy saving pumps with variable speed drives. They run upwards of 30+ c.f.m. in the pipeline and are simply remarkable in the technology, efficiency and effectiveness in pulling sap.
