Lake Reflection & Little Joe's Pass | 17 Days Hiking in Sequoia & Kings Canyon

August 2024: Part 4 of my return to backpacking in the southern Sierra after a knee injury. On Day 11 I left the Kearsarge Lakes behind and headed down along Bubb's Creek before going up East Creek. Smoke was in the air due to a recent forest fire, but otherwise the going wasn't too tough up until Lake Reflection -- but from there I went off trail again and up over Little Joe's Pass. That was a bit more of a challenge and adventure than it should have been, but I made it up and over and into the beautiful Upper Kern Basin.
