Recovered from two unlabelled 1/4-inch reel-to-reel tapes discovered in an Aberdeenshire cottage cellar, September 2025. 🎧 Best experienced with headphones in a quiet room. Recorded live on location at a remote Neolithic stone circle during the Autumn Equinox, September 21–23, 1975. Powered entirely by a portable gasoline generator buried in a distant peat ditch and captured on dual Revox A77 tape machines, "The Cairn Stones" captures the haunting, pastoral transition of the Scottish autumn through soaring analog guitars, Leslie Hammond organs, and Mellotron-drenched melancholia.
