F. Sor | Divertissement op. 62 for two guitars | Timo Korhonen and Patrik Kleemola

Timo Korhonen and Patrik Kleemola perform Fernando Sor's penultimate guitar work Divertissement for two guitars op. 62 with instruments by Richard Jacob Weissgerber from 1925 (Kleemola) and 1928 (Korhonen). The opening Andantino cantabile finds Sor in pastoral mood with more dramatic shades in the minor section. The second movement Mouvement de Polonaise is a playful yet nostalgic Polonaise with a hint of Spanish flavours.
