We’re also harvesting fresh cassava leaves, pounding them in a traditional mortar and cooking them thoroughly with homemade coconut cream. And that’s not all! We’re sharing the latest progress on OUR DREAM HOME as our beautiful house continues its incredible transformation! 🏡😍 🐟🔥 GRILLING 12KG OF TUNA OVER FIREWOOD! Today we’re taking African outdoor cooking to another level! We begin by preparing our tuna steaks and coating them in a delicious homemade marinade featuring: 🍍 Fresh pineapple 🍯 Natural honey 🥛 Plain yoghurt 🍅 Tomato paste 🧄 Garlic and ginger 🌿 Paprika, turmeric, coriander and aromatic spices The tuna is carefully grilled over firewood, creating a beautiful golden appearance and a delicious smoky flavour. We’re taking a few pieces of our grilled tuna and transforming them into a delicious coconut fish stew! Fresh tomatoes, colourful green, red and yellow sweet peppers, and rich coconut cream create a beautiful sauce for our grilled fish. This special dish celebrates the wonderful flavours of traditional coastal Kenyan cooking! 🌿🥥 HARVESTING FRESH CASSAVA LEAVES! Our farm-to-table cooking adventure begins in the garden! We’re harvesting fresh cassava leaves and preparing them using traditional African methods. Watch as we pound the leaves in a wooden mortar and cook them thoroughly with freshly prepared coconut cream.
