Barney - The Animal Parade

Happy World Animal Day, everyone. Courtesy of the Barney & Friends Season 1 episode, "The Queen of Make Believe". Barney and the children sing that song while they pretend to be in an animal parade. I love that song. Makes me play zoo with my stuffed animals. It's fun to play zoo with toys. It is one of my favorite songs from this episode. That song reminds me of "Down By The Bay" from Kidsongs: Very Silly Songs (it's all because of that one Proteus piccolo, along with the piano, brass and glockenspiel parts), where Billy Daffodilly sings about his eccentric mother and her crazy animal friends. Vocalists: Bob West (Barney), Jessica Zucha (Tina), Brian Eppes (Michael), John David Bennett III (Shaun) and Pia Hamilton (Min) Lyrics: When I was walking 'round today, I saw an animal parade First was a cat with a funny old hat I asked, "Can you imagine that?" Boom, boom, boom, boom! Boom, boom, boom, boom! Next was a goose who was wearing shoes I asked, "Can you imagine whose?" Boom, boom, boom, boom! Boom, boom, boom, boom! Then was a fly wearing a tie I asked, "Can you imagine why?" Boom, boom, boom, boom! Boom, boom, boom, boom! Last came a cow who had put on a gown I asked, "Can you imagine how?" Boom, boom, boom, boom! Boom, boom, boom, boom! As they marched through, I joined in too Hut, two, three, four! Just imagine and so can you! As we marched through, he joined in too Hut, two, three, four! Just imagine and so can you! Reliable Sources: Barney & Friends: The Queen of Make Believe
