When You're Burnt Out and Distant From God

Sometimes we go through seasons where we're on fire for the Lord, spending hours in prayer, fasting, worshipping, and seeking His presence. And then life happens. Our motivation fades, our routines become difficult to maintain, and suddenly we feel distant from the very God we were once so intentional about pursuing. But what if the answer to spiritual burnout isn't always doing more? In this episode, we're talking about how to overcome spiritual burnout, navigate anxiety and exhaustion in your faith, and build a sustainable relationship with God that goes beyond moments of spiritual intensity. While seasons of fasting, sacrifice, and deep prayer are important, our relationship with Jesus was never meant to exist only in those moments. We're called to walk with Him daily, learning to recognize His presence in the ordinary rhythms of our lives. Together, we'll explore the difference between spiritual intensity and longevity, how our own expectations can contribute to burnout, and why it's so important to invite the Holy Spirit into the way we pursue God. We'll also talk about discovering the gifts He's given us, living a life of service, cultivating a lifestyle of worship, and finding simple ways to remain connected to Him throughout the day. Maybe this season isn't about forcing yourself back into an old routine. Maybe it's about sitting with the Holy Spirit and asking Him what faithfulness looks like for you right now. *The goal isn't to maintain a spiritual high. It's to build a life where Jesus remains at the centre, even when the intensity fades.* "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." — Luke 5:16 (NIV) You don't have to exhaust yourself trying to prove your devotion to God. Learn to walk with Him, depend on His strength, and make room for His presence in every season. 🎙️ *FIND ME IN THE SECRET PLACE Podcast* #SpiritualBurnout #ChristianPodcast #FaithAndAnxiety #ChristianLiving #RelationshipWithGod the prayer of salvation “HEAVENLY FATHER, I come to you in the name of JESUS. I acknowledge to YOU that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; and I recognize that I need YOUR forgiveness. I believe that YOU are the only begotten SON OF GOD, and that YOU shed YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD on the cross of Calvary and died for my sins, were resurrected on the third day, and are seated at the right hand of GOD. I repent of my sins, and I turn to YOU. YOU said in YOUR Word that if we confess with our mouth, and believe in our hearts that GOD raised JESUS from the dead, we shall be saved. I ask YOU FATHER to forgive me of all my sins, and ask You to fill me with The HOLY SPIRIT. This very moment I accept JESUS CHRIST as my own personal LORD and SAVIOR and according to YOUR Word, right now I am saved. LORD have full control of my life and help me to serve YOU and glorify YOUR HOLY NAME and praise YOU forever. Amen.” ~ welcome, home EPISODE REQUEST FORM! https://forms.gle/wJFVQ9FbP1MMevcs6 *MY BIBLES!!
