Me and my friend suddenly decided to go for a ride towards Khilashapur Fort in Khilashapur village, Jangaon district, Telangana. What started as a completely sudden plan turned into an amazing ~100 KM ride from Hyderabad, filled with beautiful roads, conversations, exploration and an unexpected history lesson. Once we reached the fort, we got to know more about its historical importance and the story connected with Sardar Sarvai Papanna (Papadu). The fort is a fascinating piece of Telangana's heritage, with its old fortifications, bastions and historic structures. The ride wasn't just about reaching a destination.
