Ireland's Megaprojects That Are Going to Transform the Country Under Terminal One at Dublin Airport there is a room built in the early 1970s for a railway station. No train has ever stopped there. For more than fifty years, big projects in Ireland have been announced, cancelled and redrawn. These are five that are supposed to break that pattern: the M28 to Ringaskiddy, Cork's commuter rail, the Celtic Interconnector to France, DART+ and MetroLink. What each one is designed to change, what it costs, and where it actually stands today.
