Sermon | A Cheerful Heart, A Generous Life | Week 1

Generosity is rarely an accident; it begins with intentionality and flows from a joyful heart. Drawing from Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 9:1–7, this sermon explores what it means to make deliberate decisions about our resources rather than giving reluctantly or under compulsion. When we understand the principle that sowing generously leads to reaping generously, our perspective shifts from mere obligation to purposeful worship. Looking into the Greek origin of "cheerful" (hilaros), we discover that God invites us into a posture of abundant, glad-hearted giving.
