Experience the emotional reality of Real Nomadic Cave Life in Iran’s Zagros Mountains as Tahmourth, Roya, Diana, and baby Samyar wake up early inside their natural mountain cave and begin another difficult day surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Zagros. Early in the morning, Roya makes the difficult journey toward the natural spring deep inside the cave to collect fresh water for the family. The narrow, rocky and challenging passage makes reaching the spring difficult, and carrying the heavy water back to the cave requires patience and effort. After returning with the water, Roya helps prepare the morning inside the cave by lighting the fire and making hot tea for the family. She also prepares traditional bread and bakes it on a flat pan over the open fire, continuing a traditional cooking method passed down through generations among nomadic families. While Roya takes care of the daily needs of the family, Tahmourth works hard around the cave. As the father, he uses a heavy hammer to break large stones and prepares them for building a stone staircase inside the cave. Step by step, Tahmourth builds the stone stairs to make moving through the cave easier and safer for the family, creating a better living environment for Roya, Diana, and Samyar. Between the sound of the hammer breaking stone, the fire burning, the preparation of tea, and the smell of fresh traditional bread, the cave becomes a place of hard work, family care, and shared life. Tahmourth also continues looking after Diana and Samyar while working on the stone steps, showing the daily responsibility of a father living with his family in a remote mountain environment. This episode captures the real challenges of nomadic cave living in Iran’s Zagros Mountains, from bringing water from a difficult-to-reach underground spring and preparing food over an open fire to breaking heavy stones and building a stone staircase for better movement through the cave. Every step represents effort and determination to make life a little safer and more comfortable for the family. From the early morning inside the cave to the evening surrounded by fire, fresh spring water, traditional bread, and newly built stone steps, this video shows an authentic and emotional side of Iranian nomadic family life.
