SHIELDMAIDEN (Lyrics) | Female Alt Metal · Powerful Female Vocals | Neon Nova "SHIELDMAIDEN" by Neon Nova — an original fight anthem (not a cover) about the one who holds the line beside you. Powerful female vocals, English lyrics, full lyrics below. 🛡️ For heavy sets, ranked matches, the last mile of a long year — and anyone who's been holding the line alone. Axes are coming through the fog, and the line is about to break. She steps in on your left, tells you to keep low, and doesn't flinch — so you don't have to. Give no ground. She's got your right. This is an original Neon Nova song — not a cover. Fast melodic alt-metal with a 2000s edge. One voice — every echo, every chant, and the growl are her own. Written from one thought: what if the one who never flinches was standing right next to you? 🕯️ There are things hidden in this song that I won't explain. She tells you exactly where to stand. The chorus tells you why. One line isn't sung clean. Listen to who it's aimed at. In the second verse, she says something about everyone who stood next to you before her. Listen for who feeds the ravens. The first words come back again and again. At the very end, one word is gone. If you find something, leave the timestamp in the comments. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎤 LYRICS Rim to rim, I hold Axes coming through the fog Step in on my left, keep low I don't flinch, so you don't have to Hear them beating on their boards Count the spears, then stop counting Breathe when I breathe (with me) Set your feet, and brace Give no ground, I've got your right Boards locked, iron high Bring your axes, break them here Give no ground, I've got your right Send the next one, send the next Give no ground, and we go home Rim to rim, I hold Rim to rim, we hold Shieldmaiden Set, I'm the board that doesn't move Drive, I'm the iron in the line Push, I'm the reason they step back Axe in my boards, I wrench it out Boss to the jaw, the next one's down Give me your weight, so I can stand Ravens eat well on my end of the line Second wave, they come again Nobody had your right before (before) Breathe when I breathe Set your feet, and brace Give no ground, I've got your right Boards locked, iron high Bring your axes, break them here Give no ground, I've got your right Send the next one, send the next Shieldmaiden I don't need you brave, I need you here Not in front, not behind (right beside) If I fall, I fall still locked to you Rim to rim, I hold You want him, go through Shieldmaiden No ground, no ground No ground, no ground Give no ground, I've got your right Boards locked, iron high Bring your axes, break them here Give no ground, I've got your right Send the next one, send the next Give no ground, and we go home We hold We hold Shieldmaiden ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Song: SHIELDMAIDEN (Original) 🎤 Vocals, Composition, Visuals: Neon Nova Project 🤖 Created with AI music & visual generation tools #shieldmaiden #femalemetal #neonnova
