The Broken Road | A Film by Emmanuel Lokiru in Kaabong District

How does poor infrastructure affect young people's ability to participate in governance and decision-making? The Broken Road explores the infrastructure challenges facing communities in Kaabong District and how limited access to information can leave young people disconnected from the decisions that shape their lives. The film highlights the link between access, information and meaningful youth participation in local governance. 'The Broken Road' is a story under the YIGA Project implemented by ‪@MediaChallengeInitiative‬, ‪@RestlessDevelopmentUganda‬ and KAYESE256 in Karamoja.
