George Washington vs. Thomas Jefferson: Who Was Actually Worse?

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson helped shape the language of American liberty — yet both men also held people in slavery. In this documentary, we explore the contradiction between their words and their actions through documented facts, personal letters, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Ona Judge, Sally Hemings, and the decisions both men made about slavery during their lifetimes. Why did men who spoke about freedom continue to benefit from a system they knew was deeply unjust? This video looks at the evidence and leaves the final judgment to you.
