Trains at various locations along the Larne line - 8/8/2026

This video was filmed on Saturday 8th August 2026. I spent a few hours filming trains at various spots along the Larne line, after my visit to Whitehead Railway Museum earlier in the day. These are the trains that I filmed: Whitehead station: 4003: B724 12:45 Belfast Grand Central to Whitehead 4007: B727 13:25 Larne Harbour to Belfast Grand Central 4006: B726 13:15 Belfast Grand Central to Larne Harbour Larne Town station: 4006: B726 13:15 Belfast Grand Central to Larne Harbour The Harbour Highway, Larne: 4006: B731 14:25 Larne Harbour to Belfast Grand Central Larne Harbour station: 3001: B730 14:15 Belfast Grand Central to Larne Harbour Magheramorne station: 3001: B735 15:25 Larne Harbour to Belfast Grand Central 4003: B734 15:15 Belfast Grand Central to Larne Harbour 4003: B739 16:25 Larne Harbour to Belfast Grand Central Barn footbridge, Carrickfergus: 4006: B741 17:15 Whitehead to Belfast Grand Central 3001: B740 16:45 Belfast Grand Central to Whitehead 4008: B743 17:25 Larne Harbour to Belfast Grand Central 4007: B742 17:15 Belfast Grand Central to Larne Harbour I had an excellent time out on the Larne line, and I intend to go back and film more trains on the line at other stations soon. It really is a lovely line. I was glad to film some of the newly refurbished 3-car 4000 Class sets, specifically 4006 and 4007. 4006 has a missing logo on the side of coach 4306 for some reason.
