Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 4 - Full Explained (Manga)

#windbreaker #windbreakerseason2 #windbreakeranime After a fight leaves Sakura physically and emotionally drained, his friends notice his absence at school and grow concerned. Anzai and his group share lighthearted moments during lunch, but the mood shifts when they realize Sakura hasn’t contacted anyone. Nirei and Suo visit his run-down apartment and find him sick and living alone. Though Sakura insists he’s fine, the stark emptiness of his home and his resistance to help highlight a deeper struggle with loneliness and vulnerability. Tachibana later visits and gently cares for Sakura, cooking for him and challenging his belief that accepting help makes him weak. She explains that letting others support you can free you to focus on things only you can do. Slowly, Sakura begins to confront the idea that relying on others isn’t weakness, but strength. The next day, Sakura visits Kaji and admits that during their recent fight, he realized he couldn’t do everything alone. But he’s still unsure how to rely on others without feeling like a failure. Kaji offers a poignant metaphor: calling coffee “green tea” doesn’t make it so—just like pretending to be fine doesn’t mean you are. He tells Sakura that fear of rejection is what's truly holding him back—not his weakness, but his unwillingness to be seen. Through these encounters, Sakura begins to accept that his friends genuinely care and won't abandon him for being vulnerable. What he thought was weakness is, in fact, the start of real connection.
