FFXIV Dawntrail MSQ Patch 7.4

With the release of patch 7.4, I wasted no time in trying out the now unlocked power of glamour. I added hi tech goggles from gatherer gear to my overall hi tech Tank armor appearance for starters. Glamour power aside, this patch actually didn't really tease the next expansion like I was expecting it to. Instead, it was a patch wholly dedicated to Krile. I felt like it was only a matter of time before she would get more time in the spotlight, since she was considered to be one of the center characters to this expansion. Worth the wait though. The boss battle was fun. Not much needs to be said there. And while I get this feeling that we'll see her one last time before the expansion ends (Patch 7.5), I feel this is basically Wuk Lamat's conclusion in terms of story appearances. (Outside of future guest appearances like other older characters in the storyline) So I think it's time for me to finally confidently state my own opinion on Wuk Lamat: She wasn't my #1 favorite character in the FFXIV storyline. But I STRONGLY feel like she's MASSIVELY over hated. It STUNG to see even a good number of my favorite streamers shitting all over her. Wuk could have been treated better writing wise. But... come ON! She was simply trying her best throughout the story guys. D: The one thing I know for certain for the future of Wuk Lamat is that she'll be the #1 example of a Base Breaking Character in all of FFXIV's story. With Lyse not too far behind. Basically leaving no room for people like me who are in more of a... greyish view on her character. Which is apparently a deceleration of war to the extremists on both sides of the Wuk Lamat arguments...
