We Spent 48 Hours in Sa Pa (It Got Chaotic)

I took my mom on a 48-hour trip to the breathtaking mountains of Sa Pa, Vietnam, and it was an absolute adventure! From navigating steep, winding countryside roads together on a scooter to getting constantly chased and harassed by the incredibly persistent Red Dao street hawkers trying to sell us textiles, we experienced Sa Pa’s chaotic, beautiful energy to the fullest. My mom was an absolute champ on the back of the bike as we explored the far north, met some colorful locals, and took in the massive rice terraces. It was the perfect, wild 48 hours for our first trip to this region together.
