Levridge Commodity Accounting: Additional Discounts on Sales and Purchase Contracts

Historically on purchase and sales commodity contracts the only way to have the system automatically assess grade discounts on scale tickets is through the discount schedule selected on the contract. However, there are times when a contract has a different discount needed on a one-time basis or it is variable from contract to contract. In earlier Levridge functionality you would have to create a new discount schedule for the contract or remember to apply the discount manually at the time of settlement. Now the user has the option to add one or more discounts directly to the contract which will be automatically calculated when the ticket is applied. The discount will not calculate shrink, but it calculate and apply a discount or premium. You can find the ‘Additional discounts’ grid on the contract header view.
