BLACKPOOL THREW IT AWAY! Red Card Disaster as Lincoln Punish the Seasiders

Blackpool crashed out of the Carabao Cup after a frustrating 4-1 defeat to Championship side Lincoln City at Bloomfield Road. The Seasiders were arguably the better side for much of the first half and were playing some of the best football we've seen under Ian Evatt so far. But a costly defensive error gifted Isaac Olaofe the opening goal before Leighton Clarkson smashed home a superb free-kick right before half-time to level the scores. Then came the turning point. Just minutes into the second half, Zac Ashworth picked up a second yellow card and was sent off. Lincoln immediately punished Blackpool as Tom Bayliss scored from the resulting free-kick before Robert Street added a third moments later. Callum Elder wrapped things up late on as Blackpool's promising performance turned into a cup nightmare.
