Dhruva Sarja in Italy: Pogaru, Karabuu & His Father’s Review | The Vic Fix

The Action Prince, in Italy. Dhruva Sarja sits down with Vic for a Kannada Rajyotsava special on The Vic Fix. He wanted to be a boxer, not an actor. He tells Vic how his director and crew believed in Pogaru before he did, and how he lost 28-29 kg in 50-60 days. He talks about the two rules the Action King gave him, and how Karabuu grew from Chandan Shetty's dummy lyrics. On release day he skips the reviews and waits for his father's verdict from a theatre where nobody knows him. He also talks about Chemistry, working with Harikrishna, the songs he almost said no to, and the street plays at Lalbagh that taught him what an audience is worth. Conversation in Kannada.
