The story unfolds in a vibrant rural village preparing for its annual grand Mariyamman temple festival, a sacred event where the entire community unites to seek blessings. The narrative revolves around the noble lead played by Sivakumar and his dutiful partner portrayed by Sujatha, who face severe tests, social opposition, and malicious conspiracies orchestrated by greedy local figures. As tensions rise and injustice threatens the innocent, the devout villagers place their absolute trust in Goddess Mariyamman. Through a series of dramatic turns and miraculous events during the festival, truth triumphs over evil. Blended with delightful humor provided by legends K. A. Thangavelu, Manorama, and Thengai Srinivasan, and anchored by Delhi Ganesh's fine character work, the film is beautifully elevated by K. V. Mahadevan's devotional compositions, making Mariyamman Thiruvizha a cherished 1970s Tamil classic. ► Credits 🎬 Movie Credits: ⭐ Movie Name: Mariyamman Thiruvizha (1978) ⭐ Starring: Sivakumar, Sujatha, K.
