Libraries Build Business Community Discussion: Nonprofits are Entrepreneurial, Too!

Nonprofit organizations are entrepreneurial, too! In this session, Khamry Varfley (Gather RI) and Steve Cramer (UNC Greensboro) will explore how librarians can better support nonprofit startups. We'll start by framing what nonprofit entrepreneurship is—how it differs from, and overlaps with, traditional for-profit models—and introduce free and specialized research tools to help aspiring nonprofit founders. The second half of the session will open up to group discussion about challenges, experiences, and effective strategies for supporting nonprofit entrepreneurs in your library or community.
