Stop Complaining – The Holy Spirit Has Come As Promised

God never does anything randomly—every command, every feast, and every appointed time carries deeper meaning. Every word, every action, every move, every gift, every talent has a Holy Divine purpose as promised. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) Acts 2 changed everything for the 120 who were in the upper room, This included the Apostles, Mary the mother of Jesus, other brothers, and devoted followers. The Day of Pentecost is one of the significate and powerful moments in all of Scripture. The Word always confirms The Word, God said in the Old Testament : “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. (Joel 2:28). Jesus said Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. (John 16:7) The disciples obeyed, was praying, was waiting as commanded by Jesus; not fully understanding or knowing what was going to happened. Had no idea of how their lives would change forever, never imagined the depth of gifts, diversity of talents, magnitude and authority of each anointing, giving confidence to preach the Word; authority to cast out demons, heal those from various infirmities, deliver the oppressed, and raise the dead. For many this will be your decision day. Are we going to do what Jesus has commanded? Are we going to stop playing with God?
