MAURETTE — SILENCE (Official Video) | Deep Afro House 2026

SILENCE — the new deep afro house from MAURETTE. ABOUT THE SONG SILENCE is the road from noise to self. Its hero spent his whole life running through a screaming world, wearing someone else's face — a name, a role, a script written by other people. Then the noise stops, and he discovers that silence is not outside. It is inside — in the first breath that is truly his. In that silence speaks the only voice that never lied to us — the soul, a particle of God within. We stopped hearing it in the noise of the world. "The truth was always me" is not about the ego. It is about the voice of the Creator, which sounds in us only when everything else falls silent. 🔔 If you like it, please don't forget to Subscribe to MAURETTE:    / @mauretteadam   LYRICS: [Verse 1] The whole world was screaming, And I was running blind. Wearing someone else's face, Leaving my own behind. And now — Silence. Not outside. But inside. The first breath That is mine. [Chorus] I am here — I breathe. I am here — I see. The world forgot the truth. The truth was always me. [Verse 2] I release my name — It no longer fits. I forget the story — I drop the scripts. I walk into my fear — It lived here before me. Beneath it all: Air. Pulse. And silence. I'm finally free. [Breakdown] I am not a name. I am not a role. I am not who they told me to be. I am the pause Between two heartbeats. I am the breath I'm finally free. [Final Chorus] I am here — I breathe. I am here — I see. The world forgot the truth. The truth was always me.
