Imperial Good Companion Model T platen removal

In this video I will show you how to remove the platen of an Imperial Good Companion Model T typewriter. I thought I would be able to reach a lot more of the typewriter's innards, but that is not the case. The system is fairly complicated. The removal is easy once you know how. The same can not be said for the installation of the platen. It is not worth it, don't do it. Shoutout to the owner of ‪@HotRodTypewriter‬ for putting me on the right track. Required tools for removing the platen A lot of masochism. And I do mean A LOT.
