She glares at the sentry, who waves his weapon threateningly. She says nothing as she stands before Marg Krim, who holds an electrostaff. The interrogation begins simply enough; the Pyke boss demands to know where his spice is and why they have failed to deliver it, and whether they are working for a rival gang to sabotage his operations. When Ahsoka tries to tell him what happened with the Martez sisters, Marg simply scoffs and says no one is stupid enough to dump that much spice. That repeated answer only annoys the Pyke leader, who unleashes more shocks with his electrostaff. It becomes clear that Ahsoka will not change her answer, which has Marg Krim starting to believe that someone would be that stupid as to dump the spice. Still, there is a price to pay for the loss of business. Marg Krim calls for his lieutenant to bring a jagged vibroblade to him. The leader of the Pykes waves the weapon in front of him and holds it up to her eye. Before he can start the fun, though, another guard appears and says that an alarm has been tripped. Marg glares at Ahsoka, thinking that this might be her doing and that her accomplices are causing this trouble. However, the cameras in the dungeon show that the Martez sisters are still locked up. He switches to the other cameras to try and see what is going on. The Pyke leader soon finds the source of this commotion in one of the main halls as a figure advances through the halls, weaving through blaster fire from his guards. The man moves faster than the Pyke’s eyes can track, his cloak snapping behind him as he goes one way, then the other, their blasters never managing to hit anything. But when he gets close, the intruder raises his hand and lifts five guards off the ground, then slams them to the ground. Marg watches this in shock, urgently calling for more men to try and stop this attacker. However, it does them little good as the Pyke’s blasters are useless and the intruder continues to advance in a leisurely stroll. Ahsoka looks up to see the figure, sensing the immense power in him. She dares to hope that it is her master coming to save her. Soon enough, the figure throws the doors open by hurling a pair of guards through them. There, he’s greeted by over a dozen Pykes with blasters, including Marg Krim, who unleash a volley of blaster bolts. From beneath his helmet, Revan smiles and then twists, his lightsaber appearing in his hand to deflect this early volley. The Jedi Master advances in a walk, casually deflecting blaster bolts until they return to their owners. One by one, the guards fall, until only Marg is left. The Pyke leader stumbles back into his seat as Revan looms over him, purple lightsaber leveled against his neck. And then, it's over in a single cut. His head bounces from the steps, and Revan turns to regard Ahsoka, studying her under his helmet. Revan: Jedi? Ahsoka: Former Jedi, actually. Revan: Oh good, so you are the being the Force sent me to find. For a second I was worried it was one of those two girls in prison. Ahsoka: Speaking of which, we should probably free them. Care to tell me who you are? Revan: The name’s Revan. Ahsoka (Chuckles): Very funny, but who are you really? Revan: You don’t believe me? Ahsoka: I don’t believe you because Revan died thousands of years ago. Revan: And yet here I stand. Ahsoka: Yes, why is that? Revan: Who am I to say? I just go wherever the Force takes me, and believe me, it’s sent me to some weird places. And it seems to have sent me here. Lucky for you. Ahsoka: That’s true. Well, I suppose that I shouldn’t be one to look a gift Bantha in the mouth. We should get out of here. Revan nods and deactivates his lightsaber. The two of them rescue the Martez sisters and take them home to Coruscant. After that, Ahsoka suggests heading back to the Jedi Temple so that Revan can speak to the Order. Something like this is unlike anything they’ve ever seen, and the Order might be able to explain this. But after learning why Ahsoka left the Order, Revan is certain that the Jedi will just make him subordinate to them without actually getting anything done. Instead, Revan resolves to find his own path, just as Ahsoka does. Hearing this, the former Padawan tenses as she hasn’t seriously thought about what she’s doing. #starwars #starwarswhatif #whatif
